Due to its efforts the Selkirk Community Art Centre decided to undertake the 2014 Interlake Juried Art Show.
Following the May 2014 it was realized by this same group that there was a much needed working relationship between the various art group ,equipment and a manual to continue on with any further shows. A travelling working manual was developed.

The 6 display stands were given to the the Gimli Art Club.Theses pieces of equipment were given to each of the 3 clubs to be utilized in their areas but must be made available for any Interlake Juried Art Show. In 2017 a grant opportunity became available for a Mural Project . A meeting was held with various individuals to decide if this was an avenue that should be pursued. It was agreed and the Interlake Art Board became incorporated in August 2017 under 4565119 Manitoba Association Inc.
